For every transaction worth $30 or more during Dec 29th to Jan 11th, you’ll be getting a FREE New Year package. Not only that, but you’ll also be given a Special New Year Chest Key which can be used to open the Special New Year Chests in this FREE New Year Package.

Remember how we said it’s the time of giving? Well, players who do make purchases with transactions over $30 will also be able to send to their friends a Special New Year Chest FREE! It’s so easy to pass on gifts to friends; all you have to do is choose to send all your friends or alliance members. Or you can write down the lord name directly to send out the Special New Year Chest during the payment. You can choose all your friends in the list, but just know that only 20 friends maximum can be written down if you want to write their names rather than using your friend list. And you can not send gifts to those friends who are not in the same server with you. Just remember, you’ll need a Special New Year Chest Key to open those gifts your friends send you!

Did you get a Special New Year gift from your friend? How will you know? Each person who has been given a Special New Year Chest by their friend will receive a system mail to inform them of the gift, and there will be a special URL in the mail content which you can also give a return gift to the person who sent you one! This URL will take you to the payment site, and once you purchase $30 you’ll be able to send Special New Year gifts to your friends, also you can get the New Year package and the key for special Chest too.

What’s more unimaginable is that people who received gifts from friends will also get a item called “New Year’s Eve Party Spirit” which can make your troops no longer consume any food in ANY of your cities for 24 hours from the time you use it! Every player can use at most 3 times during this offer period for THREE DAYS ZERO UPKEEP! Please remember, that this item can only be used during 2010 Jan 1st and ends Jan 3rd. Once January 4th comes, this buff will expire and the Spirit of Giving item will be gone. So even if you don’t have a key for the Chest, you can at least get the “New Year’s Eve Party Spirit”.

Don’t forget, to get the great items in your New Year Packages or Special New Year Chest after your purchases, just click on the gift box in the top left corner of your screen and claim the package, then go to your Items window and you’ll find the packages in the “chest” column. The Special New Year Chest Key is in a normal New Year package. However, if you get gifts from your friends, the New Year’s Eve Party Spirit gift will be directly in your items page, do not need to claim, very easy! (So to get packages you need to claim them on the gift box, to get New Year’s Eve Party Spirit do not need, there will be in your items directly.)
